At the top of the range is the massive 65-inch LG 65EP5G commercial-grade 120Hz UHD model. With over 8 million self-illuminating RGBW pixels, it achieves reference-grade performance, high color accuracy and uniformity. The monitor also includes native support for Calman color calibration software and LG’s SuperSign software for white balance control. High dynamic range video formats including HDR10, HLG and DolbyVision are also supported.
The custom interface allows users to choose from twenty calibratable 1D lookup tables and 100 calibratable 3D lookup tables (LUTs). As for inputs, the monitor supports up to four Full HD streams simultaneously through the four loop-through 12G SDI ports. Other inputs include HDMI, IP (SFP+ and RJ45) and Genlock.
On the more realistic side, the 31.5-inch and 26.5-inch LG 32EP950 and 27EP950 are also optimized for video and graphics editing. Features include HDR and SDR color synchronization, VFX editing, on-set monitoring, and more. Both models feature LG’s new ArcLine curved stand design and offer two DisplayPort ports, an HDMI port, and various USB ports, including USB C PD (power).
For those looking for a more traditional design, the LG Pro OLED 32BP95E and 27BP95E include the same color performance features as the other displays. Rather than supporting built-in hardware calibration, each model uses a self-calibrating sensor and monitor cover to maintain color accuracy.
As with many of LG’s commercial offerings, you’ll need to contact LG for pricing on these professional OLED monitors.
