I’m delighted to announce the well-deserved promotion of Jessica Cromwell to Vice President of Sales for Search Engine Journal.
I can’t believe it’s been almost 10 years since our partnership began. In 2013 Jessica started with us in a part-time administrative role. It quickly became apparent that I had promising talent on my hands – a fast-paced, resilient study determined to take on new challenges and make the most of every opportunity that presented itself.
She took over our fledgling events program and then whipped SEJ Summit in shape. His next challenge: our direct sales, or should I say, our absence. Jessica ended up building our direct selling strategy and operations from the ground up.
I’m particularly impressed with its customer success practice – our advertisers can’t say enough good things about it. She happily celebrated her birthday with us at Pubcon for 5 years in a row, putting her announcers and team first. She is a smart operator who understands the power of collaboration and employee empowerment.
She just completed her first Ironman, lifelong learner, embodies our culture and values, and if you can’t tell now, I’m so proud of Jessica Cromwell. I am excited about our future projects together!
